These terms govern your use of SportHoot (sporthoot.com, "the Site"), operated by RW Services, Strada Putnei 15, 550410 Sibiu, Romania ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What SportHoot is
SportHoot is a sports analysis publication. It publishes statistics, model-based match probabilities and editorial analysis for soccer and the NFL, for information and entertainment.
- Probabilities are estimates, not guarantees. A forecast describes how likely an outcome is according to a statistical model at the time it was produced. Matches can and do go the other way.
- We do not accept bets. SportHoot is not a bookmaker, betting exchange or gambling operator, and we do not take, place or settle wagers.
- No advice. Nothing on the Site is financial, legal or betting advice, or a recommendation to place any bet. Decisions you make are your own responsibility.
- Statistics are past results. Tables of results, goals and other figures describe matches already played over the dates shown.
2. Who may use the Site
The Site is intended for adults (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live). Where sports betting is restricted or illegal for you, do not use the information on the Site for betting.
3. Forecast provider
Model forecasts on SportHoot are provided by predictapp. Detailed, bulk or commercial access to forecast data is a separate product offered by predictapp under its own terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- interfere with the Site's operation or security, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways;
- copy, scrape or redistribute the Site's content or data at scale for commercial purposes without our written permission;
- misrepresent SportHoot content, including by presenting a probability as a guaranteed result.
Quoting individual figures with a link to the page they come from is welcome.
5. Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, compilations of data and the SportHoot name and owl logo belong to RW Services or its licensors. Club, league, team and player names are used for identification only and are trademarks of their respective owners; SportHoot is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them.
6. Advertising and third-party links
The Site may show advertising, including advertising served by Google, and links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or services. Advertising never appears as, or is presented as, a SportHoot forecast.
7. Availability and accuracy
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and the Site may be interrupted. The Site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RW Services is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, including any loss connected with betting or other financial decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
